REMOVING A CAUSE OF PAIN AND INFECTION
Sometimes the nerve in a tooth can become damaged due to trauma or significant decay. In these circumstances and in order to save a tooth a nerve can be removed in order to resolve pain and infection.
We carefully remove the damaged nerve from the tooth and replace it with a sterile filling with the aim to maintain the tooth. After this we usually recommend protecting back teeth with a Crown or Onlay.
